Scot Born, MD

Dr. Born grew up west of Colorado Springs in the town of Woodland Park, and attended college at the University of Colorado in Boulder and received his bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. Although planning to go to medical school he took a special interest in clinical pharmacology which led to him obtaining his PharmD degree at Creighton University prior to attending medical school at the same institution.
His post graduate work was done at the University of Utah, and upon completing his fellowship in Nephrology he headed for the mountains of Montana. He enjoyed 14 years of clinical practice there and was medical director of thee dialysis units. Although a large piece of his heart will always remain in Montana, he chose to move back to Colorado in 2017 to be closer to family. There is no place like home and he has greatly enjoyed setting up his practice in Colorado Springs and getting to know all of the wonderful patients and providers here.
