Pikes Peak Nephrology Associates, PC participates with several health insurance plans.  Many require the patient to make a co-payment or pay a co-insurance (cost-share) amount.  A claim is then filed with the insurance company for the remaining balance.  Co-payments, annual deductibles, and co-insurance amounts are the responsibility of the patient and are due at the time of service.  Payment for these patient obligations will be collected at the time of your visit.  Failure to make the required co-payment may result in a surcharge being placed on your account.

Be sure to inquire about the participation status of your health insurance plan when scheduling appointments and at each visit.  Patients are responsible for letting us know of any changes in insurance coverage and any changes in personal information affecting coverage.

Your insurance is a contract between you, your employer, and your insurance company.  You are personally responsible for any bill, or portion thereof, not paid by your insurance company.

For patients without insurance, payment in full is due at the time of service unless you have contacted our Billing Office and have made other arrangements prior to your appointment.

We accept cash, checks*, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.

*Please note, checks are automatically debited from your account.
