Overview

Pikes Peak Nephrology Associates, PC (PPNA), located in Colorado Springs, sits on the high plains at the foot of Pikes Peak.  At an elevation of over 6000 feet above sea level, PPNA is the oldest and largest nephrology practice in Southern Colorado.  

With a medical staff of 10 and growing, PPNA specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases, high blood pressure, anemia, as well as the preparation for and treatment of patients with kidney transplants.  PPNA offers its patients a wide range of chronic dialysis treatment option, including in-center hemodialysis, and numerous home dialysis options to optimize patient treatment, satisfaction, and quality of life.  PPNA also provides inpatient acute dialysis services and consultative services, supporting the critical care, surgical and medical units at all hospitals in Colorado Springs.

PPNA serves Colorado Springs and surrounding communities, as well as patients in the San Luis Valley.  Several of the physicians act as Medical Directors at various dialysis centers which serve patient needs in the region including Alamosa, Pueblo, Fountain, and Castle Rock, Colorado. 

PPNA physicians are certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the Subspecialty of Nephrology.  PPNA physicians are active in various professional organizations including the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Nephrology, the International Society of Nephrology, the American Medical Association, and the National Kidney Foundation.  All PPNA physicians are members of the El Paso County and Colorado Medical Societies.
