Bio
Dr. Derian Lai developed an interest in medicine while earning his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University. He went on to complete his medical school and internal medicine training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. During his formative years of training, Dr. Lai developed an interest in the specialty of nephrology and went on to complete his nephrology fellowship at the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. Lai joined Pikes Peak Nephrology Associates due to the group's commitment to high quality patient care. He has an interest in chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders and critical care nephrology.
During his free time, Dr. Lai enjoys lifting weights, learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, rock climbing, hiking, snowboarding, and exploring the great state of Colorado.
