Insurance & Payment Policy

Pikes Peak Nephrology Associates participates with several insurance plans. Many require the patient to make co-payments or pay a co-insurance amount with a claim filed with the insurance company for the remaining balance. Co-payments, annual deductibles and co-insurance are the responsibility of the patient and are due at the time of service. Failure to make the required co-payment may results in a surcharge being added to your account.

Be sure to inquire about the participation status of your health insurance plan when scheduling appointments and at each visit. Patients are responsible for letting us know of any changes in insurance coverage and any changes in personal information affecting coverage.

Your insurance is a contract between you and your insurance company (and your employer if employer provided). You are personally responsible for any bill, or portion thereof not paid by your insurance company.

For patients without insurance, payment in full is due at the time of service unless you contact our billing office and make other arrangements prior to your appointment.

We accept cash, checks, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.

Checks are automatically debited from your account.
