Lady Love Kaltenhauser is an enthusiastic family nurse practitioner who feels she has grown up in the kidney care community. Finding a home within the well-respected Pikes Peak Nephrology practice is an exciting honor and privilege for her and she hopes to remain a member of the Pikes Peak Nephrology Associates family for years to come.
Originally from the Philippines, Lady Love relocated to Colorado Springs after serving various military assignments around the world with her husband. She feels strongly about nursing education and believes in the importance of life-long learning and service to others. She worked with end stage renal disease (ESRD) patients in an outpatient clinic for over 9 years. She began her medical career as a dialysis technician before she became a registered nurse. A consummate professional, she attained her advanced practice degree to further her knowledge and develop breadth and depth in nephrology care. She continued to strive for expertise in her field and realized her lifelong goal of becoming a healthcare provider by completing her education in Family Nurse Practitioner. She is also an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
As a member of the team, Lady Love looks forward to working with kidney patients and their families. She is passionate about healthcare and puts her patients’ health and well-being above all else and cares for each of her patients as she would want her own family to be treated.
In her free time, Lady Love enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing the piano, traveling, hiking and enjoying outdoor activities.
