Krystel Joy Roncales has always been passionate about science and had excelled in that area during her school years. She knew she wanted to become a healthcare provider someday. She attended her undergraduate studies at the Adventist University of the Philippines where she received a Latin Academic Distinction Award, cum laude, with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Her enthusiasm in the nursing and medical field has continuously grown since she started working as a hemodialysis nurse. Understanding her capabilities and passion for the field, she further enhanced her skills and proficiency by pursuing an Advanced Practice Nurse degree. She obtained her graduate degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Chamberlain University in Chicago, Illinois. She is also an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Her care and compassion to create an impact in her patients’ lives drove her with a purpose to provide quality and evidence-based care towards her patients.
Krystel has varying experiences in the nursing field and has spent seven years in the dialysis unit. Moreover, her educational background, strong family values, and cultural awareness are part of her pillars to providing utmost care to her patients. She understands the importance of individual goals, health status, and different lifestyles in tailoring every patient’s treatment.
Krystel feels honored to work with Pikes Peak Nephrology Associates. She believes they share the same values and provide remarkable patient care. Pikes Peak Nephrology Associates strongly displays integrity and compassion. She feels fortunate to have this exciting chapter of her life working with a committed group of medical professionals where she can learn and grow with them.
In her free time, Krystel enjoys walking and hiking along with her two pugs. She also loves snowboarding, weightlifting, trading Forex, and playing the piano. She also spends time with family and friends playing badminton, volleyball and singing karaoke.
